Relmin Telmesrin is 21 years of age, is 5'9" tall and weighs about 145 lbs. Although he is not built, he is in good shape, and is actually quite strong. He has jet-black hair and dark gray eyes. As a noble he is quite aware of his social statis and acts accordingly.He stands tall with good posture, carrying himself with the bearing that indicates to anyone with any sense that he is, or at least thinks he is someone of consequence. He is a very attractive half-elf, having many elven features that stand out from his human heritage. He wears the dark blue robes of the priest of Shala, or the dark blue cloak, to indicate his affiliation.
Relmin belongs to an offshoot of the Luewert family. His lineage traces back to Devin, son of Jonathan Luewert, and brother to William II. His mixed heritage is based not on a single intermarriage, but on a long tradition of intermarriage between Relmin's house (once Luewert) and a noble (mostly) Elven house. Relmin's own surname, Telmesrin, comes from his Elven ancestry, though he prefers to flaunt his Human heritage, since it is more impressive.
Relmin's family currently has their main estate in Avistone, though they also have a large number of relatives in Berole, the ancient Duchy of the Luewerts', and of course there are some at court in Isengold. Since the house of Telmesrin was an offshoot of an older family, it is relatively new (read: not yet ancient) and fairly small, but due to its heritage it is still accorded a good amount of respect.
Relmin grew up in Avistone, but unlike most of his family, he was never a devout follower of the sun god. He believes, of course, but he felt less than overwhelmed by the state religion. What did overwhelm Relmin was the feel of the raw power of magic. He was introduced to magic at a young age. With the rarity of magic in the world, the Telmesrins' believe that any of their children who show any talent in magic should be encouraged. And what talent he had! Relmin was a true adept at all things magical.
Relmin's family was very pleased to see that he wished to continue his studies in magic after completing his basic education. They were even more pleased when he announced his intentions to join the clergy of the Goddess of Magic, Shala. It was decided that the only place he could receive suitable instruction was among the priests and wizards in Isengold, and arrangements were soon made. How convenient that these arrangements also sent this strong, intelligent, charismatic young man to represent his family in the capital of the kingdom.
At present, Relmin is a recent arrival to the city of Isengold, eager to progress in his magical abilities and to establish a name for himself at court.

A young girl of the mere age of four, Nira Alvenor stands 3'10" tall. She is brilliant for her age, a undescovered child prodigy, so to speak. She is extremely talented with the piccolo, carrying it with her where ever she goes. She has brown wavy hair, bright blue eyes and a fair and soft complexion. She wears a blue dress that emphasizes her eyes. She also wears a wide brimmed black derby hat that she often uses to collect money for playing her intsrument.
Nira has lived in Isengold her entire life. She is the daughter of a wealthy merchant, Gavin Alvenor, the owner of Fashion and Fabrics, a clothing store within the Riverfront Market Plaza. Gavin married the daughter of a wealthy merchant for the simple fact that it would bring him closer to more money, his first and only love. Nira, according to him, was an unfortunate side effect of the marriage, and a dependent.
Because of her father's, and for the most part her mother's lack of attention, she has grown very independent, contrary to what her father thinks. She makes money playing her piccolo, knowing only that the money she makes is important. She learned that from her father.
Aside from playing her instrument, she seeks the answers to her many questions. Her curiosity gets her into trouble now and then, especially with her father when it involves customers.
What no one knows, not even Nira, is that deep within her past lies a secret long forgotten. A secret that would answer the questions of where she comes from and what she truly is.
